We will have time to explore both areas, with great photo opportunities. While we are at the Golden Gate Bridge, we'll have time to explore areas around (and under) the bridge including Fort Point which is at the base of the bridge. We will also have the opportunity to walk across the bridge and enjoy spectacular views of Alcatraz, Angel Island and the San Francisco skyline. Once we reach the other side of the bridge we will take a short ride to Sausalito where we'll have time for sight seeing and shopping before eating dinner at Ondine with great views of the bay. Finally, on the way back to the hotel we'll make one last stop at the San Francisco Ferry building to view the new "Bay Lights" display. You can get a better idea of the Bay Lights by going here. We'll arrive back at the hotel around 10:00 PM. There is no extra cost for attendees who register at member and non-member rates. Students and companions of VTS attendees can register for the social program for $100 per person. NOTE: It is usually very windy and can be quite cold on the Golden Gate Bridge.
